Effective policing is the key to people being safer and feeling safer. There is an expectation that the police force will be accountable, responsive and more citizen focused. Survey tools provide a valuable communication tool for understanding the mood of a community and also the perception of both crime and policing. Often a single, or a few isolated incidents can change the view of the level of crime in an area. It is important to tackle this quickly and effectively with strong communication that is clear and effective.

This pack is an indispensable aid for gaining feedback for the improvement in service provision and delivery. It can also be used to provide evidence for issues raised within community groups that are working with local policing. The templates provided will enable you to develop the surveys to suit your requirements.

NB: To use this pack you must have Keypoint installed on your computer.

These templates allow you to become immediately productive with Keypoint – you do not have to learn the entire product in detail before you can start producing your own questionnaires.

The survey pack consists of a User Guide in PDF format, and a set of Keypoint 5.5 example questionnaires (as a zip file).
