The use of patient feedback in the clinical audit process as a contributor to the quality improvement cycle is a key element in improving patient care. Involving patients in the selection and evaluation of the structure, processes, and outcome of care against explicit criteria is now becoming part of the measuring current practice against agreed standards. A good, reliable structured survey is likely to support substantial improvements in the quality of service to patients/users. It will also provide a way of focusing on the improvement of communication between disciplines, professions and at the primary/secondary care interface. NB: To use this pack you must have Keypoint installed on your computer. The survey pack consists of a User Guide in PDF format, and a set of Keypoint 5.5 example questionnaires (as a zip file).
