Working with Cornerstone: Visual Thinking
Creating mind maps
Cornerstone is supplied complete with example files and templates giving you suggested mind map uses and styles. The software offers you a choice of three working modes:-
Mapping view is the main view for creating, editing, viewing and printing mind maps. Using style choosers and drag and drop techniques, you can format and arrange the mind maps to look just the way you want. An ‘Auto’ mode can even connect your ideas automatically.
Outline view shows the mind map’s ideas as a hierarchical list in which you can show or hide the lower-level ideas. You can still choose numbering and text styles here if you prefer to work in this view.
Presenter view allows you to use Cornerstone to give presentations created in the Mapping and/or Outline modes. You can show or hide lower-level ideas in the hierarchy and also step through the ideas in the presentation.
